I am researching the following names on my Dad's (John Orin Hey) side:
Hey, Smith, Pickens,Burkett,(spelling variations)
Gottschall(spelling variations),Steinmetz,Banta,Legget (spelling varrations)Farmer,
Rhodes, Morehead(spelling variations) Helling,Barnets,Terhuyne,Van Nuys,Polhemus,Cornell,Vanderveer ,De Manderville,Hendrickson,
Bergen,De Nyce,Van Voorhees(spelling variations)Westervelt,  

These are my family road blocks:

Rev John Hey married to a Ann(trying to find out her last name and who his parents are) 

This Rev John Hey was the one responsible for the "The English Settlement"  

Mary Bardelson who married Jacob Steinmetz,son of Adam Steinmetz and Catherine Mist,trying to find out who her parents are.  All I have is a Bardelson (banker in Milport PA.) married a Rock(no info on the Rock family at all)
Family Steinmetz notes state that Adam Bardelson(Jacob's son)  was named after his grandfather Bart Bartleston. Have not found anything to conect this family as of to date.

Catherine Mist, in family info given to me,it list her mom as Barbara Miller,for her dad it just says Mist,no first name

I am also trying to find out who the Steinmetz who married Margaret Atler Steinmetz is ,there son is Adam Steimetz who married Catherine Mist

Okay ,this is just of my surnames and roadblocks, I will post more latter
